Safety as a Matter of Philosophy
The safety of our employees, customers, and the public has been a priority at
EPS from our founding. We implemented our Health and Safety program within our
organization early on and our focus on improving it is ongoing. EPS Health and
Safety Program mandates the following:
The prevention of injury on the jobsite and beyond.
- Employee Safety Training meetings and materials. Weekly tailgate
safety meetings including topic discussion. Proper protective and
safety equipment for employees and jobsite visitors.
- Employee & jobsite visitor compliance with OSHA and EPS workplace
safety procedures.
- Effective communication channels and continual coordinated
monitoring of safety parameters and effectiveness.
Creating and maintaining a safe workplace.
- We have a firm, zero-tolerance alcohol/drug abuse policy.
- Any employee knowingly engaging in unsafe behavior/activity is
subject to disciplinary action.
- Rapid investigation and remediation of any safety-related
reported incident.
- A clear recognition of EPS employee's right to a safe,
hazard-free workplace.
The EPS Employee Health and Safety Manual is comprehensive in scope and expands
on the above key safety points in far greater detail. It is available for examination
by any interested party.
